I'm praying for a job. Please Lord provide me with an income. I may not have a clean record for another year, but please show me how to fight for it God. Show me how to push myself, how to work harder, how to prove to the world that Jesus is alive. I love futbol, I wanna play, I wanna train, I wanna coach, I want to live futbol. A soccer ball brings many people together, from all over the world, from all walks of life, whether it's a dirt field, grass, turf, rubber, cement, wood, plastic, bring a soccer ball and all kinds of people from all over the world come together as one. That's how I want to share the gospel with people. Through the world's sport. Thank you God for all soccer has taught me about life so far.
As a center mid, you don't know where the ball is going to come from but you've got to get it, and you're not quite sure once you even get the ball what you're going to do with it or where you're going to go with it. You could go any way, forward, backwards, to the left or right, you have so many choices, and so many different ways of getting the ball where you want it, or maybe you just go not knowing where you even want it.
As a forward, you have a goal, to place the ball in the other goal. You can do it in so many ways, basically using any body part besides your hands. And you've got to be tricky, creative, baller, and aggressive. You've got to take initiative.
As a defender, your job is to keep the ball from passing you. You fight for not only your life, but your teammate's lives as well, protecting your goalkeeper from doing all the work. But that's not your only job, you also have to distribute the ball, making an attack. You gotta be hard, and quick, and you gotta win. And you gotta take care of everybody else, communication is key.
As a goalkeeper, you gotta clean up the mess and put it all together and make it not only presentable but the best as well. You are everyone's last hope. You upset the other team by making those big saves and stealing the ball away from going in your goal. You gotta steal the ball away, being patient, but tricky, and you have to do your job and you also have to tell everybody else how to do their job. You are the only player on your team with the most vision, seeing more of the field. You are their second pair of eyes and you've got to protect them and direct them.
Life is a game. Full of choices. Everyday life is a test. And life is a trust.

I'm living in Long Beach right now, and I'm looking for a nanny or babysitting job. I'm starting to play soccer again, I need to get back in shape first. I have an assignment, in one month to complete 45 job applications. This is the first time in almost 4 years that I have not had a job. It sucks but it's given me time to realize I have so much to be thankful for. Each day I post on facebook what I am thankful for, since it's almost thanksgiving and all. I am where I am today, beacuse of my family, my friends, God most of all, and I couldn't be happier. Throughout the past 12 months, I have been through ALOT. emotionally, physically, spiritually, I have gone through a lot of pain, sorrow, frustration, but that's just that, I got through it, only with God's help did I get through it. My life has changed at lightning speed in the past year. I've been through jail, family issues, friend issues, housing issues, food on the table issues, I've been without, I've been with too much, I've been alone, I've been surrounded. It's definitely been up and down, and today, I am finally proud to say that my life is back to more normal me; edawg. Erin who loves soccer and Jesus more than anybody else. Erin who laughs at everything and laughs so hard I can't breathe for 30 seconds, tears of joy, Erin who laughs everytime my uncle prays, I just can't take the smile off my face. I am so happy with my boyfriend Greg. I am soo proud of him, today he is 28 days sober! He is my best friend, my soul mate, and I'm going to love him forever. He is my big little kid, he knows me best and I know him best, and I can't imagine life without him. Thank God for bringing this man into my life! It's the beginining of November, and it's the beginning of a lot of new things and unknown things for me. I'm EXCITED! I love going to church the morning after daylight savings time. I'm SO thankful to God and I'm asking Him to guide me, lead me, make me into who He's created me to be. HAPPY WINTER! :)
